The Organ is a puzzle box that delivers an intricate and engaging experience. It’s highly fidgety, filled with numerous steps, and challenging without being insurmountable. When people first encounter the puzzle, they’re often unsure where to even begin. The objective is to find the hidden music key.

Without revealing too much, here are some details about its construction: The Organ consists of 42 3D-printed parts, utilizes 34 magnets of three different types (one of which remains hidden), and includes spring-loaded mechanisms. The puzzle features mechanical and sequential discovery elements, creative thinking challenges, and even a red herring. It’s also one of my personal favorite designs.

For those with puzzle experience, the average solve time is about 1.5 to 2 hours. Measuring 128 x 130 x 66 mm and weighing 440 grams, The Organ has a solid, premium feel, despite being 3D printed.
